UCC has revealed the details for the World Cyber Arena 2017 Asia-Pacific Qualifications, with ~$37,400 on offer and two slots up for grabs to the December finals in Yinchuan, China.
World Cyber Arena returns for 2017 after the former Epsilon roster crushed VG.CyberZen in the 2016 edition, taking home ~$87,000. The online Asia-Pacific open qualifier will allow up to 512 teams from the region to participate, held on Singaporean servers from July 14-15.
The top two teams from the open qualifier will progress to the closed stage held on July 24-31, where they will meet seven other invited teams from the region in a best-of-one round-robin format.
The top four teams from the closed qualifier will advance to the online best-of-three double-elimination playoffs, which will commence from August 1-3, to determine the winner.

The ~$37,400 prize distribution for the qualifier looks as follows:
1. 150,000 RMB (~$22,000) + slot for WCA 2017 Finals
2. 75,000 RMB (~$11,000) + slot for WCA 2017 Finals
3. 30,000 RMB (~$4,400)
